On Sunday, October 8th, we had another fabulous group Reiki session. If you are not familiar with Reiki, Reiki is a holistic healing practice that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. It is based on the concept of channeling universal life energy (often referred to as "ki" or "chi") through the practitioner's hands to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing in the recipient. Here are some benefits of Reiki:
Thank you to all those that came out to our first ever Sacred Beats event! Our intention was to raise the vibration of all those present, fostering unity, love, and harmony within ourselves and our community. We kicked off our event with SONG FOR THE SACRED ELEMENTS by Chenowa Egawa & Alex Turtle. This song was presented in gratitude to the elements that give us life, and to all peoples of the world who are working together to unite, honor and uplift our voices, songs and prayers on behalf of our beautiful Mother Earth. We continued to drum, rattle, and shake to many more song selections and ended in a singing bowl sound bath using the 432 hz frequency which is believed to resonate in harmony with the natural rhythm of the Earth and is often referred to as the "universe's tuning." As such, these singing bowls have the potential to realign and attune our beings to the natural flow of the cosmos, fostering a sense of unity and connection with the world around us.
This week's group might have been small, but they still knocked it out of the park with the community share! The community share is so important especially now during these times of high inflation. Every 4th Sunday of the month, we gather to make "bags" for the homeless and needy. We gather items such as bottled water, toilet paper, wipes, hygienic items such as tooth brushes/tooth paste, soap, razors, deodorant, and non perishable foods. If you would like to join us, we ask that you bring 20 of the same items. For example, If you decide to donate water, you would bring 20 bottles of water. We hope you can join us for our next Share!
Not sure about Yoga? Rev. Eva is the facilitator/instructor. As well as the spiritual leader at RLHHC, Inc., she is also a certified Yoga instructor and practitioner - 500 RYT and 40 hr Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra. She encourages us not to “fear” yoga… because the floor will meet us at whatever level we are at. This week, our small group practiced chair yoga.
We invite you to join us as we practice gentle yoga to bring our minds, bodies, and spirits together in balance and harmony! This will be an ongoing monthly service offering to the community.
Thank you Sharon Herb for teaching us the Self Inquiry Technique! It's a great way to strengthen relationships and reduce stress and anxiety!
Thank you, Willy for your incredible presentation, The Answer!
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Community Share this month! This month's bags had Easter treats and Easter cards included.
Thank you to everyone who came out for our Oneness Blessing and for our Holiday Pot Luck, it was all a blessing nd we are grateful! If you've never experienced a Oneness Blessing, please join us for our next one on January, 29th, 2023. What can you expect from a Oneness Blessing?
"Many paths ... One destination". This mantra was brought to life this past Sunday as we hosted "A Taste of Metaphysics Share". Metaphysics encompasses a myriad of modalities that can be used to deepen our connection with the universe, our Creator, and each other, and ourselves. Our little corner of the universe had a taste of pranic healing, palm reading, tuning forks energy balancing, a "chi" machine, a "rasha" machine, numerology, reiki, massage, and a yoga/tea information table. They are all wonderfully "delicious" (as Rev. Eva would say)!
Love & Blessings to ALL !!!
